Magdeburg University Medical Center is temporarily closing its pediatric intensive care unit in light of the lack of available specialists. The neonatal and premature infant intensive care unit is not affected by the closure.

The Future Day on April 27, 2023 offers students and those interested in studying, the opportunity to look behind the scenes at UMMD and OVGU. Among other things, exciting courses of study and the work of the various departments can be discovered. Registration is requested.

Students of the interdisciplinary master's program in Biomechanical Engineering had the opportunity to test their theoretical knowledge of exo-prostheses, bandages, orthoses and casts in a practical seminar with the Strehlow company and colleagues from the University Department of Orthopedics.
