Independent memory test via smartphone can recognise signs of Alzheimer's disease
Special test tasks on smartphones can be used to recognise "mild cognitive impairment" - which can indicate Alzheimer's disease - with a high degree of accuracy. This was reported by researchers from the DZNE, OVGU Magdeburg and the US University of Wisconsin-Madison together with the Magdeburg-based company "neotiv" in the scientific journal "npj Digital Medicine".
